We Are Messengers Announces Fourth Studio Album, “Where The Joy Is,” Arriving Globally April 5

January 14, 2024

Curb Records’ We Are Messengers announces its fourth studio effort, Where The Joy Is, set to release globally Apr. 5, 2024. Beginning today (1/12), fans can pre-add/pre-save/pre-order the upcoming album HERE. Additionally, in celebration of the pre-order going live, both the driving title-cut and fresh fist-pumping anthem “A Thousand Times” are available today. Official music videos and lyric videos for both “Where The Joy Is” and “A Thousand Times” are also available today — watch HERE.

We Are Messengers’ upcoming endeavor boasts 10 pristine, arena-ready pop selections — all co-written by frontman Darren Mulligan alongside an array of the industry’s most respected songwriters, including Jeff Pardo, Jordan Sapp, Ethan Hulse, Hank Bentley, and Kyle Williams, among others. Moreover, the impending release features standout collaborations with newcomer Ben Fuller and We Are Messengers’ labelmate, Blanca. Overall, the band embraces gratitude and the simplicity of the Gospel on Where The Joy Is, radiating as much exuberance as the title suggests.

“Do you know where the joy is? We believe that it’s only found in Jesus,” Mulligan attests of the message behind the revered outfit’s new record, “and we want to share that with the world.”

Ahead of the highly anticipated LP, the award-winning group launched their next musical era last fall with the 40-city “Where The Joy Is Tour,” the biggest headlining trek of their career to date. At the end of the month, they’ll continue the worldwide outing, taking it down under for five dates across Australia with special guest singer/songwriter Nathan Tasker before returning to the USA for 28 dates with special guests, Ben Fuller & Jonathan Traylor. See routing below.

The “Where The Joy Is Tour” takes its name from We Are Messengers’ brand new upcoming studio release. General on-sale will begin today, Friday, Jan 12, at 10 a.m. local time. Ticket options in most markets include a VIP package offering an artist Q&A with We Are Messengers frontman Darren Mulligan, best seats in the house, early entry and a VIP exclusive tour laminate. Information on concert dates and ticket links can be found HERE.

I think I was born with a pair of headphones attached to my head!

I have always loved radio and was introduced to Contemporary Christian Music when I was a lowly freshman in high school, way back in 1977! "Praise the Lord" by The Imperials, "Your Love Broke Through" by Keith Green and others were the first songs I heard and played over and over again!
