VIVA Worship Releases Its First Studio Album, “Solo El (Live)”

January 27, 2026

After a fruitful 2025—during which VIVA Worship released several songs that captured the attention of the Christian community and received support from congregations and media outlets across the United States and Latin America—the Román brothers are preparing to release Solo Él (Live). This new praise and worship album has been highly anticipated and is expected to become part of the worship repertoire of Spanish-speaking churches around the world.

“A Jesús Yo Seguiré” and “Solo Él” were the lead singles from this new project and marked the group’s return to the Christian music scene. In an organic and authentic way, VIVA Worship—the trio made up of brothers Andrew, Chris, and Josiah Román—has built its journey from within their local church. Through each release, they have formed a genuine connection with a loyal audience that has continued to grow, now extending far beyond the walls of their congregation and crossing borders through radio airplay across Latin America and digital platforms.

The creation of this album, which features eight original songs, took more than a year and a half of work and has now finally been released. All of the songs were written by the three brothers, resulting in a musically strong and deeply spiritual offering. Andrew, Chris, and Josiah each contribute their voices and a profound spiritual intensity to every performance. As part of the release, the single “Te Doy Las Gracias (Psalm 111) – Live” is currently being promoted.

“The making of this album has been in our hearts for many years, even before recording it,” shares Andrew Román. “We’ve had the privilege of singing these songs in our local congregation for several years, and each time we’ve experienced the presence and power of God in a beautiful way.”

Chris Román adds, “Our dream was always to share those moments with the global Church, and after more than a year and a half of work, that dream is now a reality.”

Josiah Román explains, “Each song is inspired by Scripture. Our desire is for this album to create transforming encounters with the Lord and to connect with those who do not yet know His love. We are grateful to be instruments called to glorify His name through worship.”

Worship leader and psalmist Daniel Calveti shared a special message congratulating VIVA Worship on the release of Solo Él (Live). Calveti highlighted the spiritual impact the album has had on his own life and expressed his confidence that it will bless the Church of Jesus Christ in this season. “From the moment I heard this song, it blessed me so much… and my prayer is that it blesses everyone, especially the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ. This album will be a blessing not only on a personal level, but also for congregations.”

Daniel Calveti also emphasized the unity among ministries and shared that his family celebrates this important milestone alongside VIVA Worship, trusting that God will use this album to strengthen the body of Christ during this time.

The intention behind Solo Él (Live) is for the Church—through an album entirely inspired by Scripture—to experience deep and transformative encounters with the Lord. The hope is that every melody, every psalm expressed in its lyrics, and every word becomes an instrument the Holy Spirit uses to touch hearts and renew lives.

The album Solo Él (Live) was officially released today, Friday, January 23, and is available on all digital platforms. The project also includes the premiere of live videos for all the songs, including the promoted single “Te Doy Las Gracias (Psalm 111) – Live,” available on their YouTube channel. With this release, VIVA Worship responds to the call to edify the Church and to create spaces where worship leads to genuine encounters with God, delivering a message that transcends borders and generations.

I think I was born with a pair of headphones attached to my head!

I have always loved radio and was introduced to Contemporary Christian Music when I was a lowly freshman in high school, way back in 1977! "Praise the Lord" by The Imperials, "Your Love Broke Through" by Keith Green and others were the first songs I heard and played over and over again!
