Tasha Layton Debuts New Holiday Video for Her New Song “Christmas All Year Long”

December 2, 2025

Chart-topping singer, songwriter, and author Tasha Layton ushers in the holiday season with her brand-new Christmas single, “Christmas All Year Long, available now on all streaming platforms here. The joyful track captures the heart of the season with an irresistible mix of nostalgia and big-band charm.
“Musically, this song carries the nostalgia of a big band and strings in a way where it could’ve been plucked out of the golden era of Christmas music,” shares Tasha Layton. “It feels timeless to me, and I love that! The lyrics are so cute and fun. My favorite line in the song is ‘rain is just thawed out snow.”
To celebrate the song’s release, Layton debuts a special animated video inspired by classic stop-motion animation. Combining the beloved style of Christmas specials from her childhood with modern AI-assisted technology, the video serves as a love letter to the nostalgic art form while showcasing new creative innovation in music storytelling.
“I love Christmas so much!” says Layton. “First and foremost, I wanted a song that captured the joy of the Christmas spirit! Secondly, I wanted to create a playful way of communicating that the heart of Christmas goes far beyond just December. We can reflect on the Biblical concept that it is ‘better to give than to receive’ at all times! When people hear ‘Christmas All Year Long,’ I hope they feel joy and gratitude. I hope it puts a smile on their face and maybe even a little chuckle to lift their spirits. And this video captures that concept perfectly!”
Layton’s latest holiday release follows the success of her 2024 holiday favorite “Wake Up It’s Christmas,” which has surpassed 2.7 million streams. Her total lifetime holiday streams now exceed 17 million, while her fan-favorite hit “Diddly Squat” continues to climb with 6.3 million lifetime streams.
The release of “Christmas All Year Long” arrives on the heels of Layton’s newest album, Life In Me, which dropped last month. The project features a dynamic collection of songs reflecting Layton’s walk with Christ, including collaborations with Chris Brown, Rachael Lampa, Colton Dixon, and Tim Hughes.
Layton will be embarking on her annual “This Is Christmas: An Evening with Tasha Layton” holiday tour in December. Joined by special guest Brandon Heath, Layton will bring Christmas cheer to eight cities across the country.

I think I was born with a pair of headphones attached to my head!

I have always loved radio and was introduced to Contemporary Christian Music when I was a lowly freshman in high school, way back in 1977! "Praise the Lord" by The Imperials, "Your Love Broke Through" by Keith Green and others were the first songs I heard and played over and over again!
