Sidewalk Prophets Partners With TikTok Superstar Olivia Lane for New Version of “I Believe It Now”

February 19, 2022

Curb | Word Entertainment’s Sidewalk Prophets unveils a brand new version of “I Believe It Now” today (2/18) featuring TikTok sensation Olivia Lane. Listen to the poignant pairing HERE, and watch the emotional music video for the powerful track HERE.

The album rendition of “I Believe It Now” resonated so deeply with Lane’s own journey of finding Christ, she began sharing the song with her more than 400,000 TikTok followers. A few phone calls later, and the rising singer/songwriter found herself in the studio with Sidewalk Prophets’ lead singer Dave Frey. Lane and Frey shared the story with fans earlier this week on Instagram and TikTok live chats.

Originally found on Sidewalk Prophets’ The Things That Got Us Here, the 2022 iteration of “I Believe It Now” stands at the intersection of faith and doubt. The addition of “Songland” contestant and former atheist Olivia Lane lends a different dimension to the track as she brings her real-life testimony to light with every note. The passionate, sweeping duet finds Lane and the Dove Award-winning band exploring the tension between belief and reality through a fresh string-laden melody filled with both conflict and resolve.

As the single continues to climb the radio charts, Sidewalk Prophets is currently making their way across the country on the group’s headlining “I Believe It Now Tour.” The 35-city outing continues this weekend with dates extending through May. This summer, the band will host fans in their hometown of Nashville for the “Great Big Family Reunion” July 1-4, 2022.

I think I was born with a pair of headphones attached to my head!

I have always loved radio and was introduced to Contemporary Christian Music when I was a lowly freshman in high school, way back in 1977! "Praise the Lord" by The Imperials, "Your Love Broke Through" by Keith Green and others were the first songs I heard and played over and over again!
