Project 86 Announce Final Album, Postpone 25th Anniversary Event

May 8, 2021

Rock band Project 86 recently announced a special 25th Anniversary weekend event in Nashville but announced this week that it would have to be postponed due to “venue restrictions.” In the same announcement, the band also revealed that the era of Project 86 is coming to an end, and that a final album will be in the works. This news comes as little surprise given the band teasing some big announcement over a year ago just before the COVID lockdown happened.

Check out their announcement below…

“Friend of P86,

Due to new venue restrictions, Our 25th Anniversary weekend has been postponed.

The venue (which is a soundstage), will no longer allow the public to attend the event. When we booked the event, we were assured fans would be allowed to attend. Now, they have changed their policy.

The fact is, the world is slowly returning to normalcy, and REAL shows are coming back. This event was planned to be a hybrid livestream/in-person performance with YOU IN ATTENDANCE.

So, this event will be postponed until 4th quarter 2021 to ensure it becomes a SHOW OPEN TO THE PUBLIC (which will also be streamed). It will ALSO become AN ALBUM RELEASE SHOW (see #2 announcement below) WHICH WILL ALSO CELEBRATE 25 YEARS.

Refund/credit information is below. YOU HAVE OPTONS.

We meant to share the second part of this announcement DURING the upcoming shows. This is the announcement what was teased over a year ago…then, COVID hit.

Brace yourself…

I think I was born with a pair of headphones attached to my head!

I have always loved radio and was introduced to Contemporary Christian Music when I was a lowly freshman in high school, way back in 1977! "Praise the Lord" by The Imperials, "Your Love Broke Through" by Keith Green and others were the first songs I heard and played over and over again!
