Premier Cruises Announces Inaugural Northern Lights Cruise to Alaska

October 12, 2019

Premier Cruises recently announced the inaugural Northern Lights Cruise, sailing to Alaska July 21-28, 2020. Featuring Mike Weaver, Kari Jobe, Ryan Stevenson, Matt Hammitt, Mike Donehey, Brandon Heath, Ben Glover, Mark Harris, Mack Brock and many more, the cruise will be host to a weeklong, ultimate songwriters showcase. With only 237 staterooms available, online booking is still open, with details available here.

Throughout the week, songwriters will take passengers through their personal journeys and share how their songs were crafted and inspired. Premier is also offering special onboard experiences, collaborations, activities, guest jams, and multiple performances from each artist on the lineup.

Departing via the Carnival Spirit from Seattle, the cruise will make ports of call, first sailing through the Inside Passage to the unforgettable Tracy Arm Fjord. The next stop is Skagway, a popular cruise destination featuring an antique railway system. The city is known for its heyday during the Gold Rush at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. The capital city of Alaska, Juneau, is the next port of call, followed by the Alaskan frontier city of Ketchikan -a best bets for taking in Native culture. Victoria , the capital of British Columbia is the last excursion. A meeting between the rugged outdoors and historic colonialism. Victoria entices travelers with beautiful architecture, gardens, and museums.

I think I was born with a pair of headphones attached to my head!

I have always loved radio and was introduced to Contemporary Christian Music when I was a lowly freshman in high school, way back in 1977! "Praise the Lord" by The Imperials, "Your Love Broke Through" by Keith Green and others were the first songs I heard and played over and over again!
