Point of Grace Heralds The Season With Full-Length “Sing Noel” Today

October 30, 2021

Known for their iconic holiday discography spanning more than two decades, Platinum-selling, GRAMMY®-nominated trio Point of Grace releases their latest Christmas album, Sing Noel, for the first time digitally today. The albumfeatures the group’s current single, “Gloria (The King Has Come).” Listen to the complete album HERE.

“It has been several years since we have recorded a Christmas project, and this one is really special,” shares longtime group member Shelley Breen. “It has a central focus on the carols of Christmas. It was so fun to sit around together in the beginning stages of the record with our old Baptist hymnals and realize just how many classic carols we had not recorded. Our producers were amazing in helping us find our own ‘spin’ on these songs. I feel like the spirit of the season was captured perfectly!”

Originally released as a Lifeway Stores in-store exclusive in 2017, the newly repackaged and remastered album features a shimmering modern rendition of “Angels From the Realms of Glory,” showcasing the group’s signature tight harmonies, a hair-raising arrangement of the Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene-penned anthem, “Mary Did You Know?,” the bluegrass-tinged hymn, “See Amid the Winter’s Snow,” and the stunningly worshipful, “Fear Not,” among others.

Since the release of their seminal holiday recording, A Christmas Story, in 1999, Point of Grace has collectively sold more than 1 million Christmas albums to date. Their seasonal discography also includes Winter Wonderland (2005) and Home for the Holidays (2010)

“The three of us have always loved the simple beauty and timeless truthfulness of Christmas music,” Denise Jones, one-third of the legendary musical group, adds. “We could never have guessed it would play such a significant role in and throughout our career thus far. Because so many of these songs express the foundation of our beliefs—God so loved the world He gave us Jesus—we consider being ‘known’ for our Christmas music quite an honor.”

Famous for their top-notch live performances, the group is also thrilled to be returning to the road this holiday with their popular, “A Christmas Story” Tour. The annual tour launches on 12/1 at Kentwood Community Church in Grand Rapids, MI, with additional concerts slated for Chicago, IL, Nashville, TN, Houston, TX, as well as other key markets, before wrapping up in San Angelo, TX on 12/12. I think I was born with a pair of headphones attached to my head!

I have always loved radio and was introduced to Contemporary Christian Music when I was a lowly freshman in high school, way back in 1977! "Praise the Lord" by The Imperials, "Your Love Broke Through" by Keith Green and others were the first songs I heard and played over and over again!
