Phil Wickham Releases “Everyday Hallelujah” EP Inspired by Upcoming Book

July 29, 2026

GRAMMY®-nominated worship artist and songwriter Phil Wickham has released his new Everyday Hallelujah EP.Featuring studio, live, and piano take versions of the title track, the three-song collection introduces a message that extends beyond the music and into Wickham’s upcoming book, Everyday Hallelujah, which is out August 11 through Nelson Books. Listen to the EP here.

In a rare creative reversal, the song “Everyday Hallelujah” was born from the writing of Wickham’s upcoming book. As he reflected on how worship is cultivated through ordinary moments of gratitude, surrender, and faith, those themes naturally evolved into a song that captures the heart of the book’s message.

“Writing this song was a reminder to myself that God is worthy of our praise in every moment,” Wickham shares. “I hope listening to it does the same for you.”

Expanding on that idea, Wickham encourages believers to rethink what worship can look like in everyday life.

“We tend to separate the spiritual and the physical into two different categories,” he explains. “On one side is church, prayer, and religion. On the other hand, there is work, errands, and email. But I don’t think we were made to separate these things. All things can become worship when we live intentionally in response to a gracious and loving God. Every breath, every step, and every conversation can be a hallelujah.”

Structured as 36 short contemplations, the book Everyday Hallelujah invites readers to slow down, encounter God in the ordinary rhythms of life, and discover that worship is expressed not only through songs but also through daily faithfulness, gratitude, and love.

“I’ve been singing songs about Jesus for as long as I can remember, but I’m realizing now more than ever that not all hallelujahs are sung; most of them are lived,” says Wickham. “I’ve found so much joy in seeing everyday moments become acts of worship. It was truly a blessing to write this book, and I pray it blesses people as they read it.”

This fall, Wickham will continue leading worship across the country on the Song of the Saints Tour with Chandler Moore and special guest Jamie MacDonald. For tour dates, tickets, and additional information, visit PhilWickham.com and see below for tour cities.

I think I was born with a pair of headphones attached to my head!

I have always loved radio and was introduced to Contemporary Christian Music when I was a lowly freshman in high school, way back in 1977! "Praise the Lord" by The Imperials, "Your Love Broke Through" by Keith Green and others were the first songs I heard and played over and over again!
