Newsboys Set Dates For 2017 Love Riot Tour

December 3, 2016

Grammy®-Nominated and Platinum-Selling Band Newsboys announces the 2017 extension of the Love Riot Tour, which sees them perform their hit songs live in more than 50 additional cities nationwide. The Love Riot Tour begins in Milwaukee, Wis. on February 2 and runs through early May. The tour will also feature a never-seen-before, all-new theatrical experience, God’s Not Dead LIVE! Rivals. Written and produced by John and Sarah Bolin (The Thorn) and featuring original songs from Juan Otero (Born Again, Kings & Queens), Rivals brings an ensemble cast of singers, actors and dancers together to answer the question “Can God really make a difference?” and take the audience on a journey to an infamous music venue where stars are born, rivals are met and no one leaves the way they came in.

“With this tour, we wanted to try something brand new, something different,” said Michael Tait, lead singer Newsboys. “There’s something about drama, seeing scenes acted out, lived out, right in front of you, that has a different effect. We are very excited about sharing this new theatrical experience with our fans.”

Pre-sale tickets for the February and March 2017 dates go on sale December 8, 2016 with tickets on-sale to the general public on December 9, 2016. Pre-sale tickets for the April and May 2017 dates go on sale January 19, 2017 with tickets on-sale to the general public on January 20, 2017.

I think I was born with a pair of headphones attached to my head!

I have always loved radio and was introduced to Contemporary Christian Music when I was a lowly freshman in high school, way back in 1977! "Praise the Lord" by The Imperials, "Your Love Broke Through" by Keith Green and others were the first songs I heard and played over and over again!
