Joseph Habedank Brings Praise and Testimony Together on “The Worship Album”

August 3, 2026

Gaither Music Group celebrates the release of The Worship Album, the new project from two-time GRAMMY nominee and four-time DOVE Award winner Joseph Habedank, available today on all streaming platforms and as a CD, concert DVD, and TV special.

Produced by Nick Schwarz, The Worship Album brings Habedank’s signature voice to 12 of today’s most beloved worship songs, including “I Speak Jesus,” “Holy Forever,” “Goodness of God,” “Way Maker,” “Agnus Dei/Worthy of It All” and the project’s focus track, “Firm Foundation (He Won’t).”

Known for his smooth style, powerhouse performances, and personal testimony of redemption, Habedank approaches the collection with a heart of praise and gratitude. Rather than stepping away from the story that has defined much of his music, The Worship Album carries that story into a praise and worship setting, connecting songs already familiar to CCM and worship audiences with the honesty that has made Habedank’s voice distinct.

“Firm Foundation (He Won’t)” serves as one of the project’s defining moments, pairing a powerful worship anthem with the lived perspective of an artist whose own story has been shaped by recovery, grace and dependence on God.

“‘Firm Foundation (He Won’t)’ is one of those songs I wish I could have sung to myself years ago,” says Habedank. “There are seasons when everything feels shaky, and this song tells the truth about what does not move. My hope for this album is that people do not just hear songs they know. I hope they hear them in a way that reminds them they are still being held.”

“Joseph has always led with authenticity, and The Worship Album is a natural extension of both his artistry and his faith,” said Paul Sizelove, President of Sun Label Group and Gaither Music Group. “These are songs that have encouraged millions of believers around the world, and Joseph brings them to life with the conviction of someone who has experienced God’s grace firsthand. We believe this project will resonate with longtime fans while introducing new listeners to his remarkable story.”

Recorded live at The Mulehouse in Columbia, Tennessee for Gaither Music Group, the companion concert DVD and television special capture Habedank leading the songs in front of a live audience, with special appearances by Scotty Inman, Jake Hess III, Autumn Nelon, and Riley Harrison Clark.

The release follows advance singles “Agnus Dei/Worthy of It All” and “Goodness of God.” Other highlights include “I Speak Jesus,” which sits naturally within Habedank’s testimony-driven catalog as a declaration of hope and healing, and “Holy Forever,” a worship anthem that gives the project one of its most uplifting moments.

With The Worship Album, Habedank reaches across audiences, speaking to longtime Gaither fans, contemporary Christian listeners, praise and worship audiences, and those who have connected with his recovery story through the years.

The television special will air on TBN, RFD-TV, TCT, The Word Network, Vision, The Walk TV, TLN, Hope TV, The Miracle Channel, CTS, CTN, and Heartland. Tune in times are located on the website here. A radio special will premiere on SiriusXM Radio, and songs from the project will also be featured on Bill Gaither’s SiriusXM enLighten channel (Channel 150).

The full-length project is also available to stream at Gaither TV+ or purchase the DVD and CD at Gaither.com. Stream and order the album here.

In addition to the album and television broadcast, fans can also access Gaither programming through the GaitherTV channel on XUMO PLAY, available for free across TV, mobile, and tablet devices.

Meet the Host

Kurt Wallace
I think I was born with a pair of headphones attached to my head!

I have always loved radio and was introduced to Contemporary Christian Music when I was a lowly freshman in high school, way back in 1977! "Praise the Lord" by The Imperials, "Your Love Broke Through" by Keith Green and others were the first songs I heard and played over and over again!
