Forrest Frank Releases “Selah,” Peforms First Show Following Back Injury

August 12, 2025

GRAMMY-nominated, award-winning artist FORREST FRANK has released another new track, “SELAH” The song, which hit just hours after Frank’s first show at the Iowa State Fair following his back injury, reflects his current journey of faith, listing out the definition of SELAH on the cover: pause, listen, rest, reflect.
“SELAH” follows a streak of viral singles from FRANK. Two weeks ago “GOD’S GOT MY BACK” became Atlantic Music Group’s top U.S. streaming debut with 2M worldwide streams in just one week, and now boasts over 5.5M global streams. Last Friday, FRANK released a new track, “LEMONADE,” in collab with duo THE FIGS that quickly hit No.1 on both iTUNES Overal Genre and Christian Songs charts, accumulating over 3M worldwide streams and over 22K Reels UGC.
Each of the new songs were inspired by a serious skateboarding injury that resulted in multiple back fractures. Frank put his pain into the creation “GOD’S GOT MY BACK” and documented the intimate and vulnerable process of the its creation from bed in videos that have amassed over 42M combined views and over 17k organic UGC’s.
Frank has also since taken to Instagram to share the full story of a 30 day journal challenge he was in the midst of a social media break when his accident took place, and his ultimate healing in just two weeks from the back injury.
