Forrest Frank Celebrates 70,000-Fan Houston Homecoming Ahead of Tour

March 11, 2026

Forrest Frank’s 2026 is already shaping up to be monumental.

This weekend, the Houston-born artist delivered a career-defining hometown moment, headlining the iconic Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo — one of the largest concert stages in America — in front of more than 70,000 fans. The sold-out crowd at NRG Stadium marked Frank’s debut at the legendary event and a full-circle milestone for the singer who grew up in the Houston area. As the Houston Chronicle noted in its review, Frank’s set blended faith, hometown pride, and high-energy pop for a crowd of more than 70,000, including a surprise appearance from Houston rap legend Paul Wall.

“”This was huge, I grew up in Fulshear so [the Rodeo] is like the Super Bowl for our town. Extremely honored to do it and bring glory to the Lord through it,” remarked FRANK about the experience.

The milestone performance capped an extraordinary weekend for Frank, who also sold out Florida’s Florida Strawberry Festival — underscoring the explosive demand for the artist ahead of his biggest touring run yet. The back-to-back sellouts highlighted the remarkable grassroots audience Frank has built nationwide — a movement that continues to expand as he prepares for his historic summer tour.

This summer, Frank will embark on the history-making The Jesus Generation Tour, his largest headline run to date — already surpassing 500,000 tickets sold across arenas and amphitheaters nationwide, marking one of the biggest tours ever mounted by a Christian artist.

With billions of global streams and sold-out arenas everywhere, Frank has rapidly become one of the most impactful artists in modern Christian music.

Momentum has only accelerated over the past year. 2025’s CHILD OF GOD II bowed at #12 on the Billboard 200 and made history by logging the most weeks at #1 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums Chart. The album yielded the Gold-certified anthem “YOUR WAY’S BETTER,” which became 2025’s #1 Hot Christian Song of the Year, broke into the Billboard Hot 100, and ranked among Google’s most searched “hum-to-search” songs of 2025.

In late 2025, Frank also earned multiple GMA Dove Awards — including Artist of the Year — and received two Grammy nominations, for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song (“YOUR WAY’S BETTER”) and Best Contemporary Christian Music Album (CHILD OF GOD II).

Frank has also earned the most entries on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart of any artist, with 39 total placements and 11 Top 10 hits. For the 2025 chart year, he simultaneously held the #1 and #2 Top Christian Albums of the Year with CHILD OF GOD II and CHILD OF GOD, respectively.

I think I was born with a pair of headphones attached to my head!

I have always loved radio and was introduced to Contemporary Christian Music when I was a lowly freshman in high school, way back in 1977! "Praise the Lord" by The Imperials, "Your Love Broke Through" by Keith Green and others were the first songs I heard and played over and over again!
