Flame To Share His Faith Journey In New Book

April 3, 2022

Renowned Christian Rapper to Release Book with Concordia Publishing House. The celebrated hip-hop artist FLAME plans to share his journey to Lutheranism with a new book in 2023.

St. Louis, MO—People take different paths to discover their faith. Lutheran hip-hop rapper FLAME believes his own faith story is one many can relate to, which is the basis of his new book to be released with Concordia Publishing House in summer 2023.

The book will detail FLAME’s inspiring conversion to Lutheranism, his take on the treasures to be found in Lutheran doctrine, and how he is able to connect with others through his music.

“This book is uniquely dear to me,” FLAME said. “As the readers and I journey together through the ripple and flux of my theological expedition, they, too, will behold a vast ocean of thirst-quenching ancient truths. Lutheran distinctive is guaranteed to liberate the weary traveler.”

Born and raised in the inner city of St. Louis, FLAME has an exceptional story of finding assurance in Christ when faced with adversity. His faith transformation led him to share his insight through music and to quickly become a breakout success in the Christian hip-hop industry. Earning several accolades for his recording throughout the last decade, FLAME continues to travel across the country, making appearances at a wide range of Christian events and venues.

The upcoming partnership between FLAME and Concordia Publishing House is announced with high anticipation prior to the LCMS National Youth Gathering in July 2022, where FLAME is slated to perform.
For more information about the book’s release, contact Erica Sontag, CPH Public Relations Specialist.

I think I was born with a pair of headphones attached to my head!

I have always loved radio and was introduced to Contemporary Christian Music when I was a lowly freshman in high school, way back in 1977! "Praise the Lord" by The Imperials, "Your Love Broke Through" by Keith Green and others were the first songs I heard and played over and over again!
