Dorinda Clark-Cole and Vincent Bohanan Host Stellar Nominee Pre-Show Dinner

The 40th Stellar Gospel Music Awards – Gospel Music’s Greatest Night – gets even GREATER! Today, Central City Productions announced that Dorinda Clark-Cole and Vincent Bohanan will host the Stellar Nominee Pre-Show Dinner and Awards at the National Museum of African American Music in Nashville on Friday, August 15th. This exclusive, invitation-only event is open to all 2025 Stellar Award nominees. Preceding the nominee dinner, Lonnie Hunter, will host the annual Radio Awards. Friday night’s celebration will include a red-carpet hosted by Rizzo and Meta Washington. The 40th Stellar Awards Nominee Dinner and Pre-Show will premiere on the Stellar TV Network at a date later to be announced.

The Nominee dinner and pre-show will include performances by: Jevon Dewand and the Trap Starz, Micah Lee, Otis Kemp and Tasha Page Lockhart, Vincent Bohanan, Lisa Knowles-Smith and The Brown Singers, The Group Fire, Earnest Pugh, Evvie McKinney and DOE. Special guest presenters will include: Ariel Fitz Patrick, Erica Campbell, Childlike CiCi, Casey J Hobbs, Ricky Dillard, Lucinda Moore, Martha Munizzi and Ted & Sheri.

Executive producer, Dr. Teresa Hairston Jackson stated, “This year marks the 40th Anniversary of The Stellar Awards. I’m thrilled to see the growth; not just for the show, but for gospel overall. The Stellars is a beacon that signals to the world that the gospel music industry is alive and thriving.”

The title sponsor of this year’s Stellar Awards Preshow is Compassion International (“Advocate for Children”). The presenting sponsors of the Stellar Radio Awards are Nashville Convention & Visitors Corporation and the National Association of Gospel Radio.

The 40th Stellar Gospel Music Awards show is Executive Produced by Don Jackson (Founder of CCP) with Jennifer J. Jackson (President of CCP) serving as Producer and Executive in Charge of Production; Michael A. Johnson as Producer and Director, Erin Johnson as Talent Producer, and Daniel Moore as Music Director.

This year’s Stellar Awards is presented by P&G (Procter & Gamble) with additional sponsorship provided by General Motors, State Farm, AT&T, Walmart, AFLAC, McDonald’s, and AARP. I have always loved radio and was introduced to Contemporary Christian Music when I was a lowly freshman in high school, way back in 1977! "Praise the Lord" by The Imperials, "Your Love Broke Through" by Keith Green and others were the first songs I heard and played over and over again!
