Disciple Releases Music Video for “Bow Down,” Filmed on WinterJam 2026

May 18, 2026

Disciple is releasing a live music video for their track “Bow Down” on May 15 at 6:00 PM Central. The video was filmed on WinterJam Tour 2026, created by Tyler Vandervort (Vandervort Media). You can watch the video at https://youtu.be/mNRy1NOrEwo.

“We were blown away by the response to ‘Bow Down’ when we played it while touring on this year’s WinterJam,” the band says. “The message of unyielding dedication to our protective, powerful God clearly deeply resonated with our audience and became a highlight moment of our set every night. When Tyler Vandervort approached us about capturing a live video of the song, it felt like the perfect opportunity to immortalize such a special moment.”

The music video releases alongside the news that Dane Allen is formally joining Disciple as bass player and vocalist. Dane has already been a part of Disciple’s Grammy-nominated worship band, Honor & Glory, and has served as touring support with Disciple for years. He joins frontman Kevin Young, Josiah Prince (guitar), Andrew Stanton (guitar) and Joey West (drums).

“Dane Allen has been a part of the Disciple family for a long time, and listeners are already familiar with his vocals on the past few Disciple albums — even if they didn’t realize it was him,” Disciple says. “Dane offers incredible artistry and range as a vocalist and bass player for both Disciple and Honor & Glory. We are so excited to officially welcome him as a full member of the band!”

I think I was born with a pair of headphones attached to my head!

I have always loved radio and was introduced to Contemporary Christian Music when I was a lowly freshman in high school, way back in 1977! "Praise the Lord" by The Imperials, "Your Love Broke Through" by Keith Green and others were the first songs I heard and played over and over again!
