Singer, songwriter, pianist, and American Idol finalist Scott Macintyre has released Live in Croatia, a full-length visual album now available on YouTube. The project combines an entire live concert with cinematic footage from an eleven-day ministry journey through Croatia, inviting viewers into an immersive musical and visual experience.
Recorded in the heart of Split, Croatia, the concert took place within the city’s iconic 1,700-year-old Roman amphitheater, Peristyle, where thousands of visitors pass through each day. Throughout the evening, MacIntyre used familiar songs, personal stories, and original music to connect with a diverse audience from around the world, before sharing his personal journey of faith.
The newly released visual album weaves the live concert audio together with visual scenes of MacIntyre’s travels from Croatia’s Adriatic coastline, historic cities, and moments of ministry throughout the trip. The result is a travel documentary and concert experience that reflects both the beauty of the country and the deeper human connections made along the way.
“Some of my favorite memories from Croatia weren’t on stage,” said MacIntyre. “They were the conversations after the music ended, the friendships that began,
and the opportunity to share hope with people from all over the world. I wanted this visual album to invite viewers into that journey.”
The concert itself unfolds intentionally, opening with recognizable classics by Billy Joel and Bruce Hornsby that naturally drew passersby into the historic square before transitioning into MacIntyre’s original music and personal testimony.
MacIntyre first gained international recognition as a finalist on Season 8 of American Idol, becoming the show’s first blind finalist. Since then, he has enjoyed a career as a recording artist, inspirational speaker, and author, sharing his story of perseverance, faith, and hope with audiences around the world. He and his wife Christina are featured in the television special Enduring Hope, which has reached more than 1.5 million viewers worldwide and has aired on TBN Inspire, ION Television, FOX and NBC affiliates and more.
