Amazon Music Celebrates Easter with Amazon Music Original from Rising Artist Abbie Gamboa

April 1, 2026

Amazon Music marks the start of Easter week with a new Amazon Music Original from rising Christian artist Abbie Gamboa, who delivers a powerful, worship-led reinterpretation of “The Wonderful Blood,” originally recorded by Tiffany Hudson. Known for its sweeping production and message of redemption through Jesus’ sacrifice, the track takes on renewed emotional depth in Gamboa’s rendition, arriving as the centerpiece of Amazon Music’s broader Holy Week programming—a curated lineup of exclusive releases and faith-focused content designed to reflect the meaning and significance of the season.

“‘The Wonderful Blood’ started as a simple writing session with friends; it was just us trying to tell a story that’s been shared for generations in a way that felt honest and new,” said Abbie Gamboa. “We didn’t realize then how deeply it would resonate, and I hope that this new Amazon Music Original version of the song meets people where they are with a sense of love and reflection that captures the depth of what that story represents.”

In addition to the track, Amazon Music’s “Worship Now Radio” will host a special Holy Week activation, featuring devotional liners from leading voices in Christian music including Chris Tomlin, Lauren Daigle, Brooke Ligertwood, Phil Wickham, CeCe Winans, Bethel Music, Chandler Moore, Elevation Worship, Brandon Lake, and more. Airing throughout the week, these personal reflections are woven seamlessly into the listening experience—offering moments of encouragement, perspective, and pause that help bring the message of Easter into sharper focus.

I think I was born with a pair of headphones attached to my head!

I have always loved radio and was introduced to Contemporary Christian Music when I was a lowly freshman in high school, way back in 1977! "Praise the Lord" by The Imperials, "Your Love Broke Through" by Keith Green and others were the first songs I heard and played over and over again!
